I’m a huge fan of Ai Jiang, so I was really excited when I learned she was going to guest edit an issue of Flash Fiction Online. (Also, a big fan of FFO!) When I heard the theme for the issue was “Regret” I knew I had to submit something.

I thought I had a piece that would be right up Ai’s alley. Turns out, I did. It’s a story told from the collective voice of little sisters everywhere. A tale of hero-worship and a regret so profound it lingers for a lifetime.
