Everyone needs a tribe, and I am very grateful to belong to several really talented and welcoming writing groups. While writing is billed as a solitary endeavor, having a community to bounce ideas off of, to learn and teach, swap stories, and generally cheer for and commiserate with is invaluable.
With that in mind, I’m excited to be included in this new anthology from Salty Dog Press. “Thief” is a compilation of stories featuring robbers and rogues, written exclusively by members of a couple of those aforementioned communities.
These aren’t hacks and hobbyists; these are truly savvy, accomplished, and award-winning authors. I guarantee there’s something for everyone in this book.
My story — “Almost Forget” (originally at Sally Port Magazine) — is a tale of consequence and lessons.
